It would be logical to continue the injection line, so a new product for external therapy has appeared in our arsenal - HAIR X Lotion. Injections are performed weekly by a specialist, the lotion is applied once daily at home to maintain and enhance the results of therapy.
Realizing all the difficulties in penetrating active ingredients through the skin to the hair follicle, liposome-encapsulated ingredients, enhancers (conductors) and substances with high penetrating activity were included in the preparation.
Active ingredients and their effects:
Liposome-encapsulated VEGF: VEGF growth factor is the main mediator of growth and regulation of hair follicle cyclicity. Due to its ability to stimulate the formation of new blood vessels, it improves the supply of nutrients to the hair follicle and actively stimulates hair growth.
Tripeptide-1 or copper tripeptide encapsulated in liposomes stimulates the growth of blood vessels and nerves, increases the synthesis of collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans, supports the function of dermal fibroblasts, thus improving the structure of the dermal matrix around the follicles. Regulates the hair development cycle - optimizes the anagen/telogen phase ratio. Stimulates the proliferation of semi-stem cells of the hair follicle. GHK Cu peptide - blocks the BMP receptor and DKK-1 protein synthesis, blocking the androgenic pathway of follicle miniaturization.
Pea peptide stimulates follicle stem cells and increases their viability, accelerating cell regeneration. Prevents hair loss, promotes the regeneration of keratinocytes, protects the hair follicle and restores hair color. Inhibits the autoimmune reaction and inflammation in affected areas.
Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate is a licorice derivative that has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. Reduces the potential irritant effect of active ingredient enhancers (organic alcohols in the lotion).
B vitamins (U-FERMENT® SVB) is a bacterial fermentation product with a confirmed content of B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12). Responsible for the growth and synthetic function of fibroblasts against the background of photoinduced damage. Suppresses the activity of matrix metalloproteinases and supports the mitotic activity of keratinocytes. It has a hypoallergenic effect by reducing the release of histamine from mast cells of the dermis.
DNA Na salt – prevents miniaturization of the hair follicle, has a positive effect on the germ cells of the bulb. Protects the hair follicle, stimulates the synthesis of growth factors.
Sage extract has anti-inflammatory activity and enhances microcirculation.
Ginseng extract prevents apoptosis of hair follicle cells and inhibits 5α-reductase, preventing hair thinning.
Methylsulfonylmethane or bioactive sulfur exhibits anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties and helps stimulate hair growth.
Phytic acid in the lotion is used as a chelator and binds calcium ions in tap water. One of the reasons that slows down hair growth is its pollution and the influence of drainage water used to wash it. Free metal ions, especially calcium, accumulate on the follicles, forming plaque. Chelators help neutralize the effect of ions and prevent plaque formation.
The lotion does not replace a doctor’s prescription and is recommended as part of complex therapy.
Indications: androgenic, diffuse, incl. post-Covid, focal alopecia.
Application of lotion: daily for 3-4 months. Apply to clean scalp, spread until absorbed.
